The project manager Engineer Koyoya Fuko said here that the work began on Monday, this week and it is a joint venture between the Mwanza City Council and the Local Authorities Provident Fund (LAPF). Officials say that the project that is expected to end in two years’ time from now will cost over 60bn/-.

“The centre shall be of unique quality that fits within the framework of Mwanza city, carrying modern and alluring design which also fits within the lake context within which the market shall be created,” says Engineer Fuko. Upon completion, the facility is expected to expand the scope of business opportunities in Mwanza region and also attract both local and foreign investors.

The expert also hinted that the mall will also have a four storey market structure developed within an urban setting and requires a number of design provisions to be made to ensure its functionality. Key among these provisions is 660 vehicles parking and 100 schooters parking which shall be created within and around the market.
He further explained that the construction will enable the large space that would be created around the scheme and it is proposed to have sufficient soft and hard landscape that will be incorporated within the format as well as around the market.
The mixing is expected to create melodious mixture and creates an interesting development all over the building. The market through its atrium would also create openness in its makeup. This openness improves air flow and circulation and thus reducing the market’s cooling needs, he says.
The Shopping Mall that never seen in the City and Lake Zone regions shall have large window along its frontage which have outer sun shading crust and inner operable windows shall harmonize the contemporary outlook of the market and guarantee its unique demand.
Engineer Fuko established that this shall be created using an extensive sub basement level due to slopping nature of the site. The market will be a one stop shopping complex comprising of the public area located at the floor level.

2.    Make a business plan. You will need to present this plan to banks or other investors to get financing. Describe your business in detail, explain your marketing plan, detail your current finances and give information about any partners you will have.
3.    Practice your speech. Know your business plan well and be prepared to present it at any time. Anticipate questions you may be asked from potential investors.
4.    Start with family and friends for funding. Your family and friends know you well and want to support you. Share your interest for your business idea with them. If they do want to invest, make a formal business agreement.
5.    Try traditional banks for financing. For new businesses that may be difficult. Try smaller banks or credit unions that cater to local small businesses. Consider using your home equity to finance your business idea.
6.    Seek partners for funding. A partner with cash may be what you need to get your idea going. Choose partners carefully. Be certain you can work together. Look for partners who have skills besides money to contribute to the business.

Wakuu wa Iraq wanasema mtu aliyejitolea mhanga ameripua bomu na kuuwa watu kama 50, katika shambulio dhidi ya mahujaji wa Kishia katika mji wa Basra, kusini mwa nchi.

Inaarifiwa kuwa watu 90 wengine wamejeruhiwa.
Polisi walieleza kuwa mahujaji hao walikuwa wanaelekea msikiti mkubwa wa Washia nje ya Basra, mwisho wa ile wanayoita Arbain, moja kati ya vipindi vinavyoadhimishwa na Washia.
Askari wa usalama 7 ni kati ya watu waliokufa.
Shambulio hilo linakuja wakati mvutano wa kisiasa unazidi baina ya Washia, walio wengi Iraq, na Wasunii.
Mwezi uliopita, serikali yenye Washia wengi, ilitoa amri ya kumkamata makamo wa rais aliye wa madhehebu ya Sunni, Tariq al-Hashemi, kwa mashtaka ya ugaidi.

Watu 40 watoweka katika ajali ya meli

Wakuu wa forodha wa Utaliana wanasema watu kama 40 bado wametoweka, baada ya meli ya abiria iliyobeba watu zaidi ya 4000 kwenda mrama katika mwambao wa Utaliana.

Shughuli za uokozi zimeendelea kutwa, huku wazamia mbizi wakipekua upande uliozama wa meli hiyo, Costa Concordia.
Msemaji wa walinzi wa pwani alieleza inawezekana kuwa watu wengine bado wako ndani ya meli.
Abiria wawili kutoka Ufaransa na baharia mmoja kutoka Peru wanajulikana kuwa wamekufa.
Mkuu wa kampuni inayomiliki meli hiyo, Gianni Onorato, alisema ushahidi wa awali unaonesha kuwa meli iligonga mwamba;
nahodha haraka akafuata utaratibu wa kuwatoa abiria melini.
Lakini operesheni ilizuwilika kwa sababu meli yenyewe haraka ilipindukia ubavuni na kuzusha mtafaruku.
